West Coast Swing Edmonton is excited to announce a West Coast Swing Weekend Workshop coming to Edmonton June 19 to 21, 2026, featuring Tashina Beckmann-King & Nick King, Champion-level West Coast Swing dancers and coaches!
This weekend will include 10 hours of workshops, two nights of social dancing, and a special performance by the pros, with options for private, group, and mini-group lessons.

NO outside food or drinks are allowed at St. Basil’s on Saturday or Sunday. (This includes personal water bottles!) Bottled water will be supplied for attendees.

What level are the workshops?
Friday evening lesson: Open to all levels, including absolute beginners.
Saturday & Sunday workshops: Designed for Novice dancers and up. Attendees should be comfortable with West Coast Swing fundamentals, including basic timing and rhythm.
Do I need a partner?
No partner is required. We aim to maintain a balanced lead/follow ratio to ensure a great experience for everyone.
Are tickets refundable?
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Social dance tickets for Friday and Saturday nights will be available for purchase at the door (subject to capacity).
Are private lessons available?
