As you all know, we are a volunteer organization – we do this because we love it, and it was always the vision to make this a community-based effort.
At the December 15th dance we honoured one of our key people in Addicts, Corina!
This past spring, after many years of service, Corina stepped down from the board and helping to run the Addicts dances.
She has been here forever, 10 years at this hall. She has organized dances, run meetings, taught lessons, and got our official society status. In addition to being the president of the society, she helped keep the organization going when we had no events – no easy feat.
That is commitment.
Without her efforts, I’m very sure we would not be as successful as we are today. Thank you Corina!
